Australian model dishes with Meghan Markle as a “beauty portfolio” on Deal or No Deal



Australian model Lisa Gleave discussed what it was like to work with Meghan Markle in the US version of Deal or No Deal.

Markle, 38, was a portfolio model for the game show 2006-2007.

“I remember she was very focused on her acting career, and the role of the ‘beauty portfolio’, as we were called, was just a step up in her career,” the Gold Coast newsletter told DailyMail.

She added: “She only performed for a few seasons and then landed her role in ‘Costumes’, which took her away.”

The Duchess of Sussex played “Costumes” in 2011-2018. Just before marrying Prince Harry.

“I was so happy for her when I heard about the marriage,” Gleave, 43, said.

Markle and Prince Harry married in May 2018 and greeted their son Archie a year later.

Earlier this year, they withdrew from senior members of Britain’s royal family.

Since then, Markle and the Duke of Sussex have moved to Los Angeles, where she grew up.

Although Markle did not return to filming on camera, she said she had signed a contract with Disney + for the documentary Elephant. The project became available on the broadcast network in April.
