On Tuesday Philadelphia 76ers organized Washington wizards. Before the Sixers game, Chief Trainer Brett Brown turned to the media and discussed Ben Simmon, a point guard
. Through Dave Uram of KYW Newsrad, Brown said about a 22-year-old child from Melbourne, Australia:
as I said, can you run our team? Do you think Joel needs a ball? … you think you see it … and I think he's developing in this area … he needs to do what I just said. It is very important that he does what I have just said.
Brown suggested praise, but stressed that he would like to see Simmon's growth, namely leadership.

Point protection is usually an NBA position with a longer learning curve than others. For a young player to commit a crime, lead veterans and win, he needs a combination of rare talents, maturity and poetry.
Simmons is against the curve. He has a good chance of becoming an All-Star only in the second season. However, his coach seems to have higher expectations than just that.
The LSU product led to the Sixers win 17 points, 9 help, 5 rebounds and 3 steals in 28 minutes last night.
