The latest Animal Transition: New Horizons The update – version 1.4.0 – was only available for a few hours, but data handlers have already started searching for game files to see if juicy, new details can be found.
A well-known data handler known as Ninji has found some new links that could hint at possible future additions to the game. We avoid showing them in the title or lead image of this article to avoid possible spoilers, so get back to safety now if you don’t want to see what might be on the horizon.
Don’t you mind being spoiled? Then read on.
New references in game files seem to include crops and vegetables such as sugar cane, potatoes, carrots, wheat, tomatoes and pumpkins, as well as sewing and cooking utensils. Naturally, this would suggest that players will be able to upgrade certain vegetable growing and cooking opportunities in the future.
VGC reports that Ninji previously unveiled New Horizons add-ons, such as an art gallery, and diving before they officially appeared.
So if these new features actually appear in the game, when could they be unlocked? We already know that the next major update to the game is scheduled for release this fall, so we imagine they will be released sooner.
It’s also worth noting that despite the things in the game files, there’s nothing stopping Nintendo from deciding before to release these add-ons. Until Nintendo officially announces cooking and vegetable growing as new features, be sure to keep an eye on your excitement.
Do you like the sound of these potential new features? Do we expect them to actually get into the game at some point? Let us know in the usual place.
