The company did not say much about the local communities. Ruth Porat, chief of the Google parent Alphabet, said he is expecting the "capex growth rate in 2019 to moderate quite significantly."
Pichai has the plans will be able to create tens of thousands of jobs across Nebraska, Nevada, Ohio, Texas and Virginia, as well as Oklahoma and South Carolina. Google did not say how many new jobs in the data centers and business offices
Pichai also got a new office in Texas and Massachusetts, building out more space in Illinois, Wisconsin, Washington state and Georgia
Last week, the Austin-American Statesmen reported the company planned one new office tower in Austin, Texas, to add approximately 5,000 workers.
