Together with YelaWolf, Korn presented the cover of the Charlie Daniels Band, The Devil Went to Georgia.
In the new rendition, frontman Jonathan Davis swaps lines with YelaWolf as they play “The Devil” and “Johnny” in the classic tale. “I’ve always said that, but country music is the darkest ever,” Davis said in a press release. “Merle Haggard, Buck Owens and, of course, Charlie Daniels turned pain into really powerful music that sounded live.” The Devil Went to Georgia “is a classic story we wanted to release now to help others in need.”
All proceeds from the track will be donated to Awakening Youth, a non-profit organization that helps young people cope with parental loss due to divorce, addiction, death, adoption adoption and more.
