On Thursday, Celtics allowed the Lakers to lose 18 points, and then Clippers allowed it to erase a 28-point shortage after Saturday to 123-112.
The second straight-frustrating defeat of the Celtics front Marcus Morris expressed his team members for his attitude, contrasting his descent position with the positive he sees across the league.
"It's not for me, it's the attitude we play," Morris told reporters in a newspaper. “The guys hang their heads. It's not fun. We do not compete on a high level. Although we won, it is still not fun. I can't see the joy in the game.
"I look at all the other teams around the league and the guys are on the bench – they jump to court, they use the success of their team members. They use everybody, they play together and play to win. And when I look at us, I just see a bunch of people.
Asked what to change, Morris said the team had to start with a simple goal.
"The goal must be to win. The bottom line, ”said Morris. “We have to play to win. It sacrifices a threat, and it sacrifices as a better teammate who sacrifices everything that is. We have to put it on the side. No one can trade; the trading term ended
"We are competing for the championship and how we have to reach these games. Win, lose or draw. We will lose games, but we have no attitude, we have no rigidity, no fun. It will be a long season.
Morris was at the beginning of Los Angeles and finished 1
"In order for us to become a championship team, one must change this," Morris said. “We really want to win. This must be the first goal. Regardless of who it is, I'm with him. If they want to get me out of the start, I have the juice I have with it. I'm trying to win.
So, is there a belief that the Celtics approach can change?
"Yes, I mean, I'm sure. I think it can, ”Morris said. "But you have to start somewhere."
