Mars 2020 is coming together



Engineer checks

Down and Cabled is the whole cruise phase that will be powerful
The Mars 2020 spacecraft is headed for a seven-month trip to the Red Planet.
Directly below is an aerosol (white back and barely visible black)
a thermal shield) that protects the car during and during cruise ships
fiery descent into the atmosphere of Mars. Not visible (because it is overlaid
inside the aerosol) is the completion of the missile landing stage and the rover (actual
Rover, which takes place in the final JPL High Bay 1

clean room.

Mars 2020 spacecraft
was tested in a 25-foot wide, 85-foot (8-meter-26-meter) chamber
the same configuration that will be carried out in an interplanetary space.
2020 Rover has a whole new set of tools
including a sample tank system that will return Mars samples to return
to Earth on subsequent missions. The mission will be launched from Cape
Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida 2020 July
