Naya Rivera lay down 2 weeks after an accidental drowning in Lake California



Actress Naya Rivera is laid to rest.

According to a death certificate from People magazine, the Glee star who was included in the death certificate was buried in the Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Los Angeles on Friday, July 24th.

Doc listed the cause of death as “drowning” and says Rivera died “[minutes]”People are also told that there were no other significant conditions that contributed to her death.

July 13 Rivera’s body was extracted from Lake Piru, California, five days after she disappeared when she rented a boat with her 4-year-old son Josey.

When the boat failed to return on time, its salesman found the boat drifting at the northern end of the lake, and the little boy slept on board. According to Ventura County Government, the salesman told investigators that the boy and his mother were swimming.

Rivera accidentally drowned in Lake Piru.  Her 4-year-old son was found alive on a chartered boat.

Josey told investigators that his mother helped him get back on the ship. Then he looked back and saw her disappear into the water.

The boy was wearing a life jacket, and another life jacket was found on the boat along with Rivera’s identification. Her car was found in the parking lot. Josey, whom Rivera shared with ex-husband actor Ryan Dorsey, was “in good health,” previously confirmed by authorities.

The day after she disappeared, authorities said they believed Rivera had drowned and the rescue mission had become a recovery.

Dorsey visited her Instagram account this week to pay tribute to River. “It’s unfair … there aren’t enough words to explain the hole in everyone’s heart. I can’t believe that’s life now. I don’t know if I’ll ever believe it,” he wrote.

“You just were … Earlier in the day with Josey we just sailed back. Life just isn’t fair. I don’t know what to say … I’m grateful for our times and our trip that brought us together and gave us the cutest and cutest smart little a boy we could have ever expected, ”he added.
