Warning: This entry includes Wednesday Riverdale finals.
Wednesday's 3rd Season Finals, where Penelope & # 39; s and his friends set up Demented G&G with life and death actions, hit us with shocking moments, such as the arrows from Cheryl's arch. Chic is alive and Gargoyle King! Penelope Killed Hal! Alice and Polly rose up in thin air with Edgars and farms! But Alice actually worked secretly … with Betty's brother Charles, who's alive, and an FBI agent! (Charles & # 39; s also a Jughead brother, don't forget… but don't think about it too much.)
But the biggest shock was the last, because Archie, Veronica, Betty and Jughead shared a milk cocktail and promised them older people will not solve all the problems of murder. Flash ahead: Spring Break, with Archie, Betty and Veronica covering their blood and burning their clothes in a large fireplace. They never reported it again (no matter what it is)… and Jughead is nowhere to be seen. In fact, Archie throws a signature cap on his fire on the fire. Whaaaat ?!?
Naturally, after this finale we had about a million questions, so TVLine reached Riverdale performance by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, who enlightened many secrets in the finale. Read on to explain that Jughead-without crusaders, Cheryl's unnatural ties with his dead brother Jason, and if we can say that Archie and Veronica have returned.
TVLINE | We get the roasted bread of the flour starch, and the gang no longer keeps the mysteries of murder. But then we jump to the spring break, and obviously something terrible happened, and Jughead is obviously missing. How are we worried about Jughead?
Very concerned. [ laughs ] Very concerned
TVLINE | Did this lead up to the moment in the forests, the huge secret of the 4th season?
Yes, completely. Every year we try to explore a different genre, or another type of pulp or Noir tropical. Next season, we worship novels that we read, such as Christopher Pike and Lois Duncan, [who wrote] . I know what you killed Griffin last summer and . I am a huge fan of Donna Tartu's novel The Secret History . So we wanted to explore a genre that was oriented towards school and pupils, and that led to the advancement.
TVLINE | We also saw that Chic returned as Gargoyle King. Have you always planned to bring it back?
Yes, because we never saw his body … [ Laughing ] We were similar to bringing Chic back. But we all really loved that character and loved that actor. We just realized the best way to get it back. It's funny: [Hart Denton, who plays Chic] said: "Are you sure you will bring me back?" And I was like, "Yes, wait, this is a couple more episodes!"
TVLINE | Betty Dad Hal Is Dead… Or Is It? Can we trust that someone really died in this exhibition?
This is a good question! I always say, "You never know real." But I think Hal is finally, really, really dead
TVLINE | Betty also lost her mother Alice when she disappeared into thin air with Edgar and Ūkiu. Are we following this season – maybe with Charles?
Absolutely. I'd say we played a lot of The Farm history. One story has to say that Betty and Charles and Jughead have to extract Alice from where Farm is. So what are we going to discuss early in the season
TVLINE | Cheryl happened from the farm, but now she has Jason's dead body at home, Psycho style. Has it completely disappeared from the deep end?
Yes and no. We talked about this in the room [writers’]. Cheryl is a symbol that will always be determined by the loss of her brother and her love for her brother… and so she has joined the farm so easily. Someone allowed her to contact her brother. We really thought that at the end of the season, Cheryl would immediately return it to the ground and say goodbye to him again? Maybe not. Perhaps it is delayed as much as possible. Is it crazy? Of course, it's crazy. Do I think Jason is talking to him about how Mrs Bates spoke to Norman? No, I don't think so
TVLINE | In addition to all things of life and death, we saw Archie and Veronica. Is it safe to say that they are full again?
I can't say that in the end.
TVLINE | Hiram was thrown into prison, but he is just the prison's own prison, on his behalf. So is it still a force to be considered?
Absolutely. Strangely enough, Hiram is the king of his castle. He is in his place in his power, so I don't think we heard the last one from him.
