Sonora, California. When will Tuolumne County be added to the state̵7;s COVID-19 case watch list? Local officials are still unsure.
The county public health report reported only one confirmed case on Wednesday. They did so on the same Tuesday, and as the number of cases fell, the percentage of 14-day cases in counties dropped to 99.33 / 100,000, or 99 new cases per 100,000 population in 14 days. This metric is slightly below the 100 / 100k mark on the state county watch list.
Public health officials note that the results of laboratory reports on CalREDIE, the state reporting system, are slightly delayed, and that reports of county case numbers on the state website are slightly delayed.
For these reasons, officials do not know when the state will add Tuolumne to the watch list, but will provide updates as more information becomes available.
